Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act for Adults (WIOA Adult)

Description of Project:
The project offers adults who have been unemployed an opportunity to connect with a career counselor, enroll in training programs, and receive continued support throughout their career development process. The program can pay for the cost of training and tools up to $6,500 for qualifying individuals. English as a Second Language (ESL) services are available for individuals, and support of on-the-job training is available to employers. If eligible, the program can connect trainees with transportation services.
