The primary goal of the Innovation Challenge is to promote and support innovative ventures in the health care workforce space in New Hampshire. In addition to fantastic networking at both events, on May 1st, we'll hear live pitches from the five inaugural Innovation Challenge Semi-Finalists and on May 15th, we'll announce the three winners of the competition!

There are dedicated advocates and organizations throughout New Hampshire hosting a wide range of programs and resources to help address health care workforce challenges in the state, as below. Our goal is to raise awareness for their valuable work. If you have an initiative you would like included, please send an email to

Description of Project:

This program uses the NH Needs Caregivers model for high schools students. It focuses on helping high school students 16 and older start careers as LNAs by structuring trainings around students' academic coursework, working with schools' Extended Learning Opportunities (ELO) coordinators to allow trainings to count for academic credit, paying for training and licensing costs, and providing job placement assistance following the completion of training and certification.
